About me

HI!

Hi I'm Jessica Antonini and I'm a freelance illustrator and toy-designer, and I live in Umbria in the green heart of Italy.
I have always loved drawing but before dedicating myself to illustration I graduated in architecture and design at the Institute of art and then in comics at the International School of Comics.
When I finally understood what I wanted to do when I grew up, I attended specialization courses and workshops in this regard that gradually helped me to undertake this wonderful job.
I have worked with publishing houses for both school and book, and even cover design for a magazine, and with toy companies for different models of educational board games.

Honors and Awards:

▪ Winner "The game books are made with the machines" of -Ts'ai Lun 105- 2018, with participation in a two-week training and working internship at the Cartotecnica Montebello S.p.A. of Sarégo (VI), a European leader in the field of game book creation.

▪ First prize winner of "Libraries at stake" of the AIB-Italian Library Association, and exhibition at their booth during the Bologna Children's books fair 2018.

▪ Third prize winner "Premio Segio Fedriani 2018" and exhibition at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.

▪ Selection for exibition "Let's Dance" 2018 for the contest banned by collective -Le Vanvere- and Ludicomix in Empoli.

▪ "Honorable mention" prize for the contest Scarpetta d'Oro 2017 with attested.
